President Of The Board
Tomvet Madkins is the presiding President of the Board of Directors for the BATO Dance Studio Corporation. She is also the Founder/Executive Director and has been since 2014. She has 10 plus years of experience teaching dance, mentoring and instructing youth to perfect dance, thrive academically, and live life successfully and remain a positive influence for other youth in the community. Tomvet's life transformed in 2011, after she received her Associates Degree of Applied Science Business Management and Accounting with an Emphasis in Property Management from Salt Lake City, Utah. Over a 6 year span she had the pleasure of instructing youth at the After School Program of Donnell Academy and Greater gifts After School Tutorial Program in 2015. Tomvet received an Inspiration Award of Confidence and Leadership from Beauty Within in 2016 . She also volunteered several years at Bristol Head Start Program 2016-2018. Till this day Ms. Tomvet is still teaching the art in the form of dance, demonstrating patience, and being a wonderful mentor. She never misses the opportunity to remind youth to be brave, courageous and great in their community.

Jennifer Annisette is currently the Treasurer of the BATO Dance Studio Corporation. Following her position as a Board of Director. She retired from Guilford Child Development in becoming 2021 after 20 years of service. She was also the President of the Caribbean Association and the Vice President of the Jamaican Association of Greensboro. As serving the position as the Treasurer of the Board for the BATO Dance Studio. Her responsibilities currently are to assist with Fundraising Activities and recruitment for the Dance Studio. Her goal is to assist the President with registration and advertising to make available and in reach the necessary information the community needs to connect with the Dance Organization. Her overall goal is to strive for excellence. Her love, appreciation and enjoyment for the kids and the organization as a whole has truly grown 5 years since she first connected with BATO Dance Studio Corporation.

Secretary Of The Board
We would like to welcome Dale Gibson for joining the team as the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the BATO Dance Studio Corporation for 2022. He is a Greensboro Native of Grimsley High Alumni. His Foundation of Leadership started from humble beginning as the 1st Battalions and Operations Commander with the Parade and Drill Program in which he has served for 38 years. He also served as the Assistant Executive Director, Chairman, performing administration, military regulations, rifle regulations and fancy drills. Mr. Gibson has 13 plus years as a Police Security Officer of A&T State University. Mr. Gibson is a Certified Martial Arts Instructor Black Belt in Kung-Fu style teaching youth of all ages. Serving the community Mr. Gibson was the 1st Lieutenant for Guilford County Security Department for 13 years. He was the Captain of the Elite competition units including the Soul Stompers Drill Team and Alumni All Stars. He also has a passion to serve the BATO youth and young adults to bring life changes to their lives and to build them as future leaders. Mr. Gibson is an advocate fundraiser who plans to help support the BATO Dance Studio to fulfill it's full potential.
